3 weeks agoThis beach bar is a nice little gem. Very friendly staff and owner, relaxed atmosphere, delicious and authentic greek food for a fair price. Free sunbeds with good shade for customers of the bar, and again very relaxed and uncomplicated. The beach is phantastic with the rocky coast, mostly clear waters and a lot of sealife also interesting for snorkeling. We even had a stingray flying by. Stunning views especially during sunset. Be aware of the scarce infrastructure though. No showers and currently (end of June) no toilet. And there are wild goats, which seem to enjoy the foods as much as we did, so they can get a bit annoying whenever you have food in your hands. But staff do their best to keep them away. Flag them down if you are bothered by the (otherwise quite cute) goats.

7 months agoThis is the place to enjoy the thermals as you can rest, drink and eat here, then when u feel like it's time for the thermal you can walk around 5 min. Very good prices. Friendly service.

2 months agoTherma Beach offers a unique experience with its warm, mineral-rich waters blending into the cool sea. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially with the dramatic rocky surroundings and clear views. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy something different from typical beaches. However, the service options nearby are limited, and the area can be a bit crowded at times. Bringing water shoes is a good idea because of the stones. Overall, it’s a memorable spot with an amazing natural atmosphere worth visiting.

2 months agoWe've visited in May and the sea was a bit cold but the hot spring you cannot stand a minute in some places. We found some spots where hot water was mixing with the cold sea water making it bearable. A slavic guy was happily bathing in the hottest spot though since it was not crowded. One of the must see places on the island.

a year agoThe thermal pool can get quite crowded (I counted 30 people at one point), so you have to place yourself carefully. Saying that, this is a must do experience on Kos. We also had a quick snack at the beach bar. The owner was very friendly and told us the history of the thermal spring. The food was delicious and not expensive. We also managed to be there for sunset, which is good late in the season. The parking is either just off the road and a steep walk down a rough dusty track or if, like us, you had a hire car (best offroad vehicle), then you can drive right down to the beach.
