Mastichari Beach is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on Kos, located on the island’s northwestern coast. Known for its soft white sand and crystal-clear turquoise waters, it offers a setting that feels almost tropical. The beach is well-organized with sunbeds, umbrellas, beach bars, and tavernas, while its steady sea breeze makes it one of the island’s top spots for windsurfing and other water sports. Despite its popularity, the beach’s long shoreline provides plenty of space for visitors to relax and enjoy the stunning sea views. The nearby village of Mastichari, with its traditional harbor and waterfront restaurants, adds to the charm of this popular destination.

2 years agoOur favourite beach on the island of Kos. Can be pretty windy with big waves. Not too many people on the beach so we felt really relaxed and had some privacy. The sand is magical, some grains are transparent so they sparkle in the sun.
