Therma Beach or Hot Springs is one of the most unique natural attractions on Kos, famous for its thermal springs that flow directly into the sea. Located on the island’s eastern coast, this small beach is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and features dark volcanic pebbles that add to its distinctive character. Visitors can enjoy a natural spa experience as warm, mineral-rich water mixes with the cooler sea, creating a relaxing bathing area believed to have therapeutic properties. The combination of stunning scenery, crystal-clear water, and natural hot springs makes Therma Beach a must-visit destination for those seeking something different during their stay on Kos.

6 months agoThis is the place to enjoy the thermals as you can rest, drink and eat here, then when u feel like it's time for the thermal you can walk around 5 min. Very good prices. Friendly service.

a month agoTherma Beach offers a unique experience with its warm, mineral-rich waters blending into the cool sea. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially with the dramatic rocky surroundings and clear views. It’s a great place to relax and enjoy something different from typical beaches. However, the service options nearby are limited, and the area can be a bit crowded at times. Bringing water shoes is a good idea because of the stones. Overall, it’s a memorable spot with an amazing natural atmosphere worth visiting.

a year agoThe thermal pool can get quite crowded (I counted 30 people at one point), so you have to place yourself carefully. Saying that, this is a must do experience on Kos. We also had a quick snack at the beach bar. The owner was very friendly and told us the history of the thermal spring. The food was delicious and not expensive. We also managed to be there for sunset, which is good late in the season. The parking is either just off the road and a steep walk down a rough dusty track or if, like us, you had a hire car (best offroad vehicle), then you can drive right down to the beach.

a year agoGreat little beach bar with awesomely friendly staff and free sunbeds (October). Mousaka was sooo delicious with the crispy bred. Frappe was also great. Prizes are fully deserved. We will surely cone back some day.

2 years agoCycled here from Kos Town which is quite a distance and the last bit was quite hilly. Parked the bicycles at the small restaurant at the start of the dirt track down the steep decent down to the beach & beach bar with a small parking area too. The thermal pool is about another 200 meters on the flat from here.
