a month agoIn the center of Kos old town, with a magnificent garden Elia is definitely one of the places that stole our heart. The waiter that served us, a young bearded man, was one of the kindest ever met on the island. The food was excellent at a very affordable price. We wanted to have a second dinner there before leaving but we had to cheang our pland last moment and it's been a huge regret! Definately to try!!! It's going to be worth every your cent!

2 weeks agoAlongside the obvious (great food and drinks) a meal is made or misses the mark on the ambience and the staff. The staff at Elia were incredible - warm, friendly, engaging and helpful. We had an amazing lunch with all different ages and tastes catered for. We went for a selection of starters for the table and then an array of mains. On the suggestion from the staff I went for the lamb kapamas, which was exquisite. Sweet and tender lamb shank in a die for sauce of cinnamon and honey. Really good value restaurant and would highly recommend.

6 months agoWe are nearing the end of a trip through Turkey and Greece and this was one of the best meals we had! It’s in a small pedestrian area so nice and quiet and away from the cars. We sat in the front but there’s also a nice back dining area. Such friendly service, delicious food (try the lamb with cinnamon and aunt’s chicken!!) and drinks. We also appreciated the complimentary bread with olive paste and liqueur. Can’t recommend this place enough!

6 months agoSo incredibly glad we chose this place for our first meal in Greece. The food was some of the best I’ve had in my life and the service was nothing short of perfect. Location is amongst the narrow laneways of Old Kos Town and offers great people watching and atmosphere. Just smoked mackerel, salad and grilled calamari was heavenly!

5 months agoWe tried Elia after meeting Roberto at a coffee shop this morning and while chatting he mentioned he works here, we said we would come and visit for dinner and WOW!!! The atmosphere is romantic and relaxed, the service is 10/10.. every waiter we spoke to was so friendly! Roberto especially took very good care of us! He recommended us the ‘pork neck steak’ as a main dish and OMG it was one of the nicest dishes i’ve ever had anywhere in the world!! The ‘Aegean Island’ cocktail was very tasty and refreshing, the aubergine rolls were delicious, and I got the last moussaka of the night, so if you come here order this quickly! Definitely recommend a visit here when in Kos! The menu is small, but the food is some of the best! Big up Roberto, he was the best host and really made our experience unforgettable!
