a year agoGreat, nice little shops, bars, and restaurants. Some of it is undercover, so it's a nice break from the sun. I can only say if you're visiting for the day from Turkey, it can be a long wait at passport control, which can be up to an hour plus weekdays wnd more at weekends

4 months agoLocally called Asda. Buy something here and you get a sunbed. Lovely fresh coffee. Fresh pastries, rolls and anything Carb loaded for a day at the beach. They also have great fruit. You can buy absolutely anything you need here.

4 months agoWho doesn't like a market especially in Greece ? Not quite the chaos of a street market but still busy and bustling. Plenty of stock , shelves heaving with all sorts of spices and sweet delicacies. Helpful staff and the nagging doubt that you must leave with a bargain for your friends ? Easy to find in Old Kos Town and you leave knowing you can come back tomorrow and still see things you missed yesterday.
